Yes. Visible’s sensor is waterproof and safe to wear while showering, bathing or swimming.
Visible’s heart rate monitor can be worn on the wrist or upper arm. Visible ships with a wristband by default, which you wear like a watch. Armbands can be bought via the shop, accessed through the Visible app.
Visible Armband 2.0 and Visible Band 2.0 are the same device. In 2025, we made the band available to wear on the wrist as well as the arm, and changed its name to Visible Band 2.0 to reflect this.
No, the Visible band isn’t a smartwatch, and it doesn’t have a screen. Its simple, screenless design keeps distractions to a minimum. The band tracks your biometrics in the background and sends your data to the Visible app on your phone. That’s where you’ll see your PacePoints, energy budget and insights, and get exertion alerts.
The Visible Band 2.0 battery lasts up to 10 days on a single charge, and takes around 1 hour to fully charge.
Every band comes with a magnetic USB charging cable, which clips neatly onto the back of the band. Plug the other end into a USB charger. Lights on the back of the band indicate when it’s charging, and when the charging is complete.
The Visible band works with iPhones running iOS 15 or later, and Android phones running Android 9.0 or later. You’ll need to download the Visible app on to your device. If you’re not sure if Visible is compatible with your phone, contact us and we’ll be happy to check for you.
The Visible band doesn’t connect to Apple Watch, Garmin or Fitbit, and Visible doesn’t use data from other wearables. Most fitness wearables only check your heart rate every few minutes. While that works for exercise, it means alerts can arrive too late to help you pace well throughout the day.
The Visible band tracks your heart rate continuously, so you can see how hard your body is working in real time and slow down before symptoms flare up.
No, the Visible band isn’t available on Amazon or from other retailers. You can buy it directly from Visible on our website, or through the free Visible app. The band is purchased at the same time as monthly or annual Visible membership.
